Frankly, at this stage of life I thought where I lived would have been a gimmie. However, due to some personal and life changes, I have had to move back in with my x-wife.
It's not really a bad arrangement, but my cash flow isn't what it used to be and sometimes I am just plain embarrassed to admit that I can't do some of the things I used to do without giving it a second thought (going to the Ball game, jumping in the car and taking a day trip, just going out to dinner).
Life is still good, just different!

Another forum topic I've revived...your ex-wife must be a very gracious woman to extend her hospitality.

"I think there is still love there" to paraphrase Jeff Goldbergs father in the movie "Independence Day".

No, that's understandable, but some sort of friendship, even if begrudgingly.
