What a great compendium of information about and of interest to Baby Boomers. I'm really glad I found Baby Boomers U.S.

I'm a full-time writer, traveler & photographer who quit the corporate life four years ago to see the world. I write about it on two blogs (Baby Boomers Traveling & This ExPat Life) as well as provide daily travel tips on my website http://www.babyboomerstraveling.com -- all of which is available by free subscription or you can just visit the website whenever you feel like it.

I'm also writing a book to inspire (turn on) boomers to do more traveling and give them the resources (tune in) to do it more often and for cheaper.

If our Grand Poobah of Baby Boomers U.S. allows, I'd like to provide you with a snippet of my weekly traveling blog and links so that readers of this fine pub can be inspired to travel to more place, more often and for cheaper.

    Hey Doris,
Of course you can post snittets of your travels here. Just please remember, if it looks to spammy, it could offend other members and "turn them off".
We're also open to guest post on the Blog, just go to the Guest Post for Us tab on the top of the page for the guidelines.

I don't understand why you restrict postings to articles never published online before now and that it cannot be published on another blog (not even your own), ezine or subscription service in the future. In effect, your restrictions are a contract between you and the writer for the publishing rights. Unless you pay for content, this doesn't really make a lot of sense from the writer's point of view.

    Could you elaborate?

    Hey Doris,
The main reason the content has to be original and never published before is to avoid duplicate content. Google penalizes a sites rankings if it was ever published somewhere else online.
    Sorry, but thems the rules.

Okay, I understand. What I'll do is just post short bits and if people are interested in the whole story, they can read more on my site.

Thanks for 'splaining it to me.
