I just signed up as a member of this site. I wanted to introduce myself and offer some things I've found true that can solve some common problems Boomers share. I'm sure I can learn a lot from you all, also.
My major interest is health, especially how to stay healthy without diets, drugs, and medical intervention. I just turned 63 and I've managed to stay at roughly the weight I was in college. I'm not on any prescriptions and I feel great.
I have mostly been self-employed, but I also spent some time consulting for the U.S. Department of Commerce and the local Chamber of Commerce, looking for ways to re-employ an isolated, beautiful community after their major employer left town. That taught me some interesting lessons about finding some new employment for the general population.
Lately, I've been developing a new career on the Internet as a writer, trying to contribute some insights I gained that I haven't seen elsewhere. This is an exciting time to be alive, so I'm looking forward to hear what others in this forum have learned.
